FFF - Unexpected

Friday

Happy Friday! Time for another Flash Fiction Friday. Go visit Advizor's blog for all the deets.

It had been five years since his wife had passed, and the holidays were always the hardest. She used to love decorating the house and baking delicious holiday treats. He hadn’t felt like celebrating since the accident.

He had gotten the reputation of a bit of a scrooge, but mostly people didn’t mind since he often volunteered to work the shifts no one else wanted. After a particularly long and tiring shift, as he approached his apartment, he was surprised by the unexpected smell wafting into the hallway.

Is that Christmas cookies? Coming from my apartment?

Prepared for the worst, he unlocked his door and tentatively entered. The pretty brunette from 3C just smiled as she placed the final ornament on the tree.

Why…? How did she…? What was…?

He shook his head, trying to comprehend what was happening.

“Hey, Julie! He’s home.”

A blonde woman emerged from the kitchen and joined his neighbor. Both were naked and stunningly beautiful.

“You’ve looked so lonely these past few weeks, so I invited a friend over to help spread some holiday cheer. I hope you don’t mind,” the brunette whispered in his ear as they both started to undress him.

Tumblr Tuesday #10 + a Surprise!

Tuesday

I missed posting at all last week! Bad, bad, Lola!

Sometimes, life just gets too busy with well, lots of things.

I haven't even had much time to just flit around Tumblr. So sad!

Here is my only  Tumblr fave from the past two weeks.

This dress is so hot! I would love to have it.

Since this is kind of a lame post so far, I thought I'd spice it up a little and give you a quick glimpse of what my St Patty's Day looked like.

I ran a HALF MARATHON! Don't you simply love the sweatshirt I received? It's definitely my fave now.

Hope you all had a wonderful St Patrick's Day!!

Happy Little Christmas and King Cake (yum!)

Friday

via Taste of Home
Less than an hour left of work today. Truthfully, I checked out a long time ago.

I've been reading blogs and sending emails and doing other unproductive things.

Like eating my 2nd piece of King Cake that someone brought in today to kick off Mardi Gras.

It's good!

Does anyone out there celebrate Mardi Gras in its entirety? I just learned about Little Christmas and the beginning of Mardi Gras and King Cake today.

Well, I did know that Epiphany was Jan 6th and the 12th Day of Christmas. I'd just never heard it called Little Christmas.

I'll be celebrating (non-intentionally) tonight by going out to dinner with another couple. We may or may not slip off to the adjoining hotel after wining and dining.

Either way, it will be a fun evening out with good food and good company.

We've had dinner with them before, so I'm not nervous - just excited to relax and enjoy some good conversation and flirting.

Have a fabulous weekend!

2nd Annual Great Online Cookie Exchange Extravaganza

Tuesday

It's the 2nd Annual Great Online Cookie Exchange Extravaganza!
Brought to you by Jz over at A Reluctant Bitch (though I actually found out about it by Hedone at The Pleasure Principle).

It's my first year participating. And yes, technically, it's supposed to be a cookie recipe, but well, I felt like breaking the rules. This time.

Candy is almost as good as cookies anyway. Right?

One of my favorite candies of the holiday season is Peanut Brittle. Especially when it turns out with that perfect brittle consistency and and oh, so buttery-carmely-peanuty flavor. You know, when it kind of melts in your mouth, but still has that brittle snap?

I can't stand it when it's chewy. Ew.

So, homemade is definitely the way to go with this treat. It's actually relatively simple to make and it only requires a few ingredients - most of which are probably staples in your home.

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1 cup raw Spanish peanuts
1 T butter or margarine
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Grease a large cookie sheet. Set aside.

In a heavy 2 quart saucepan, over medium heat, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and water.

Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Add raw peanuts.

If using a candy thermometer, set it in place and continue cooking. Stir constantly until temperature reaches 300°F (150°C) or until a small amount of mixture dropped into cold water separates into hard and brittle threads. Since I do not own a candy thermometer, this is the method I use. I keep a small dish of cold water on the counter near the stove. Periodically, I drip a little of the mixture into the water to test the consistency.

Remove from heat.
Immediately stir in the butter and baking soda.
It is helpful to have these pre-measured and ready to go, so they can be stirred in right away.

Pour at once onto the greased cookie sheet. Using the spatula used during stirring, smooth the peanut mixture over the cookie sheet, making sure there are no holes and that it is relatively evenly spread.

Allow to cool. I usually let it cool for at least 30 minutes or so. It should be a nice caramel color and should no longer be sticky.

Break the candy into pieces. I do this by slamming the cookie sheet onto the counter once or twice (this can be quite loud, so you may want to shout out a warning to others who may be around), and then using a fork to break into smaller piecs.

Enjoy the smooth, buttery, crunchy yumminess!

L-A-Z-Y and a Recap

Thursday

I was feeling a little too lazy last night to try and get an HNT together, and then I had a helluva time getting up this morning. I even skipped the gym! :(

So, needless to say, I haven't posted an HNT yet this week. Perhaps later tonight...

My sister is playing this week, though...

I thought I'd share a little recap of my Valentine's Day.

Jasper's not really one for celebrating holidays. He's got issues with giving gifts out of social obligation, so we don't normally do much for any holiday...Christmas, Valentine's Day, birthdays, etc. We went to the Valentine's party the Saturday before V-day, but that was all we really had planned.

There was a lecture we considered attending on the 14th. Maybe getting some dinner before or after, but early in the day, he wasn't feeling up to doing too much in the evening. We decided just dinner would be nice. I browsed around a little online to find a restaurant to try downtown. I narrowed it down to two. I called the one to find about their V-day special.  $60/person? Um. No.

That pretty much sealed the deal on which restaurant to try.

I made the reservation.

I was a little nervous about what the restaurant would be like on Valentine's Day. Would it be super crowded? Would the service be poor? Would the food be good?

As the afternoon crept on, I was also feeling a little frisky. I decided that I needed to get something for us to play with while at dinner. Something vibratey, cordless, remote. I had some time after work and before our reservation, so I headed to our favorite adult store.

Their selection was pretty dismal in this area. My high opinion of the store is quickly fading. It seems they've become much more focused on clothing (which I do enjoy) and BDSM items (which really isn't my thing), but it is super convenient!

I opted for a pair of vibrating panties.

I put the box in my purse and headed to the restaurant. Jasper was running a little late (stupid public transportation). The restaurant wasn't very busy, so there was no fear of us losing our reservation since we weren't both there on time.

I slipped off to the bathroom to try out the panties. After opening the box and unwrapping everything, I was so nervous! I didn't want Jasper to arrive while I was still in the bathroom! With shaking hands, I got all the batteries into the bullet and the remote, but I couldn't seem to get the bullet into the panties.

Screw it! I just inserted the bullet into my pussy and kept my own panties on. I shoved the other ones into my purse, washed my hands, threw the empty box into the bathroom trash, and returned to my table. Phew!

I was about to order a drink while waiting, when the server mentioned a free bottle of wine if we purchased two entrees from the Valentine's menu. We're not really wine drinkers, but free always makes it more appealing.

When Jasper arrived, I got up to give him a hug and slipped him the remote for the bullet. "What's this?" "Oh, I think you know." We ordered a bottle of Reisling. I had the sea bass (so yum!) and Jasper ordered the NY strip. Throughout the meal, he would flip the switch on the remote - filling me with the most delicious sensations. It was even more exciting not knowing when it was going to happen.

It was really fun.

We'd never really done that before. So discreet, yet so public. :)

I easily drank 2/3 of the bottle of wine. I don't know for sure how much we each drank because our server kept topping off our glass whenever he walked by. Awesome!

When we got home, I had a surprise in our mailbox...my nipple charms! I tried them on, and we were soon completely naked and devouring each in bed.

I don't remember too many specifics after that. I do know that another bullet joined the one already in my pussy. And they both worked with the same remote. I was completely filled with vibrating bliss as I took his cock into my mouth.

I know it's late, but I hope you all had a fabulous Valentine's Day as well.

Merry, Merry Christmas!!

Saturday

HNT: Happy Halloween

Jasper and I got invited to a Halloween party this year. With our newfound focus on sensuality, we decided to go sexy this year. For weeks, I couldn't decide on anything that was really calling to me. I wanted something that would be fun to do as a couple. Something that wouldn't be overdone.

I scoured the Internet. But nothing was really hitting the spot.

Finally last week, we rode our bikes to the Halloween shop a mile or so away. There were so many great costumes!

We finally decided on this super sexy bee costume.

Where is my honeypot?
**clicky-clicky**
Jasper, of course, will be my bee keeper.

Hope everyone has a SAFE and Happy Halloween!!
